- Accurate coordinates (stand at the spot when pinning, where safe and lawful)
- Clear photos that show the subject and its setting
- A short, searchable title
- Whether the clock keeps time
- Number of faces and mounting type
- Maker’s name if present on the dial or case
Why a shared atlas helps
Public clocks are civic landmarks that fail quietly. Mapping them shows which towns still maintain working street timepieces.
